Silage Supreme™ 3X contains three viable strains of silage fermentation bacteria - two Lactobacillus plantarum and one Pediococcus cerevisiae. The L. plantarum strains, in combination with P. cerevisiae, produce lactic acid faster under a wider range of normal silage making conditions; getting better control of the fermentation process. Good fermentation and good feed can be obtained at moisture levels down to 50 percent and at lower temperatures.

Bacteria stability is ensured through added stabilizers during the production process, specific carrier systems, and special packaging which prevents oxidation and moisture transmission. All Silage Supreme™ 3X closed bags and tightly closed lids of product maintain their stability and performance from one season to the next with no special storage required.

Silage Supreme™ 3X Prop Products Silage Supreme™ 3X Prop products are a blend of organisms containing two strains of proven silage fermentation and aerobic stability bacteria Lactobacillus plant and Propionibacteria. The L. plantarum strain produces lactic acid faster under a wider range of normal silage making conditions for better control of the fermentation process. The Propionibacteria strain produces propionic acid, a known inhibitor of yeast and molds, to provide aerobic stability and reduced spoilage during feed out. Both these stains have been proven to through university and field research to provide good fermentation and aerobic stability.
